From 2001 – 2003 I photographed special events, weddings and portraits as a side business while going to school and then moving to Seattle. I’ve been published in the Peninsula Daily News – the local paper of Port Angeles, Washington, as well as in the big book of the national project, America 24/7, and a few promotional pieces for Peninsula College. Being a full-time stay at home Mom beginning in 2006, I decided to take a break in 2008 when baby number 2 arrived.
To help me focus on my photography, I’ve joining the 20 Minutes A Day Challenge. For the next 6 months, I will spend 20 minutes on my photography – from capturing to uploading to editing to sharing. And, if that actually gets me all caught up, I will crack open my boxes of old school film photos. I must have about 3,000 stored neatly by year (thanks to the help of my cousin, Savanna) in photo boxes. The end goal of this challenge will be to have a show of my Photography in a Seattle coffee shop. Complete! My first ever show will be in January 2012 at Coffee To A Tea With Sugar.
All photos used on my blog are by me unless otherwise credited.
Thanks for taking a look!
